Payments & Cancellation

Leaving is always easy.

Plain English, because trust shouldn't require a lawyer. Emaration is month-to-month. Cancel anytime, in a click or a quick email, and you won't be billed again. Payments cover access and work we've committed to and delivered, so they aren't returned; but leaving is always easy and immediate, and everything you pay for is yours to keep.

Read this first. The public entry is a free account, no card. Onboarding (our automated five-layer audit and setup) has a list price of $1,000, and it's waived with membership. Membership is $99/month, month-to-month: cancel anytime, in a click or a quick email, and you won't be billed again. Everything you pay for is yours to keep: the full five-layer audit — the written report and the dashboard — and the remediation plan that says what to fix and in what order. You know exactly what you receive before you pay, and you keep all of it.

1. What this policy covers

This Payments & Cancellation policy applies to Emaration's onboarding (the "Onboarding," our automated five-layer audit and setup) and to monthly membership paid to Emaration LLC ("Emaration," "we," "us"). It is part of, and incorporated into, the engagement letter and the Master Services Agreement, if applicable. Members-only consulting beyond your monthly hour is scoped with you in writing before work starts and is governed by that written scope, not this policy.

It also covers the website tool — a one-time $1,500 website build or update on one defined scope, agreed in writing before work starts. Its carve-out is in Section 3.

2. Onboarding and membership pricing

Onboarding (our automated five-layer audit and setup) covers the standard scope in Section 5 of our Terms of Service, which in turn points to our home page on the date of your intake. For a self-serve buyer, who signs no separate engagement letter, those two are the documents that define it. Where you do have a signed engagement letter or Master Services Agreement, that document governs its own scope. As of the last-updated date above, onboarding's list price is $1,000, and it's waived with membership. Membership is $99/month, month-to-month. Consulting work beyond your monthly hour is scoped with you before it starts and is not covered by this policy; the website tool is covered by Section 3.

3. How canceling works

Emaration is month-to-month. Cancel anytime, in a click or a quick email, and you won't be billed again. Leaving is always easy and immediate; there's no notice period to serve and nothing to argue your way out of. Payments cover access and work we've committed to and delivered, so they aren't returned; but everything you pay for is yours to keep, and you're never billed for a month you didn't choose.

The website tool is the one carve-out. Its scope is agreed in writing before work starts — so before a scope is agreed, if we cannot agree one together, the payment is returned. Once a written scope is agreed, the posture above applies: payments cover work we've committed to and delivered, and everything delivered is yours to keep.

4. What you receive and keep

Everything you pay for is delivered and yours to keep, immediately and permanently:

  • The full five-layer audit: the written report — technical and on-page SEO, content quality, business-presence signals, answer-engine (AEO) readiness including AI-crawler access, and an accessibility read for common WCAG Level A barriers — read and signed off by a human.
  • The remediation plan: what to fix, in what order, with the generated fixes attached.

While your membership is active, your dashboard collects every report and update in one place. When you cancel, portal access ends — so we email you everything at once: every report we sent you, written out in full, plus a final snapshot of your dashboard. You see the full scope before you pay, and the written work is yours to keep whether you stay or go.

5. Payment disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error (for example, a duplicate charge or an amount that doesn't match what you agreed to), email human@emaration.ai with the subject line "Payment question" and we will look into it promptly. Please contact us before initiating a payment-processor chargeback so we can resolve a genuine billing error directly. This acknowledgement of how disputes work doesn't change that payments for access and work we've committed to and delivered aren't returned.

6. Questions before you buy

We want you certain before you pay. Email human@emaration.ai with anything you want to confirm about scope, deliverables, or timing; a human answers every one, and we aim to respond within one business day. We'd rather answer every question up front than have anyone unsure at checkout.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Payments & Cancellation policy over time. The version that applies to your membership is the one published on the date your most recent payment was made, reflected by the "last updated" date at the top of this page.

8. Questions

If anything in this policy is unclear, email human@emaration.ai before purchasing. We'd rather answer the question up front, in plain language, the same way we wrote this.
