AEO — Answer Engine Optimization

Clarity in the AI fog.

When your customers ask AI who to trust, will it name you? We work to make you the answer it gives — scored by machine, planned by Andrew — and we track it: your visibility in AI answers over time, and the visits AI sends you, in your own analytics.

What the name means

EMARATION

GreekHémera — the dawn of clarity.

SpanishEmanar — the relentless flow.

Where the light breaks. Where the current begins.

AEO — Answer Engine Optimization — is Emaration's craft: helping AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok) see your business and describe it accurately, and working to make you the answer they give when customers ask — then tracking it: your visibility in AI answers over time, and the visits AI sends you.

It doesn't replace SEO — it extends it. Same fundamentals, higher stakes.Read the full story →

How we work to improve your AI visibility.

We run a five-layer audit, then fix what it finds: structured data and llms.txt so AI engines can read you, answer-led content so you can become the answer, and GA4 and Search Console measurement so you can see the results. Every AI-assisted step is metered and disclosed, and Andrew writes the plan from your findings.

The Light · Hémera

The Audit: Dispelling the Fog.

Before we build, we illuminate. No vanity metrics, no bloated busywork lists — just a sharp audit of how AI and Google see your business.

One deterministic 0–100 score and A–F grade — a critical finding in a foundational category caps it outright, so the number never lies by averaging.

The Flow · Emanar

Monitoring: Engineering the Current.

Once the fog is cleared, the current keeps moving: weekly monitoring re-reads your site and flags what actually moved — score drops, new critical findings. One audited AI pipeline drafts the fixes, every call metered, and a human approves each piece before it ships.

We generate the fix, not just the finding: ready-to-ship schema, question H2s, and answer-led copy you download or we ship as a pull request.

We query the engines your customers use: ChatGPT · Claude · Perplexity · Gemini · Grok — how we measure.

Inside the report

We ran the scan on ourselves. This is the report.

The same free scan you can run on your homepage, run on ours — refreshed from the live result while you read. Every number below is the scan's own output: what it read, what it could not, and what it would hand a member next.

What we did, the same day

  • A top-level Person entity for the founder, so answer engines have a named author to cite.
  • A HowTo of the method band, mirroring the steps the page already shows.
  • A hero that opens with the question a buyer actually asks.
  • AI answer-engine crawlers allowed in robots.txt, and an llms.txt.

What membership adds to that

  • Every page, not one.The full-site crawl reads each page the free scan skips, then groups the same issue across pages into one finding with why it matters and what to do.
  • Recommended changes with the files attached.JSON-LD blocks and an llms.txt written for your site, ready to paste, each tied to the finding it closes.
  • Fixes as pull requests.Through the Emaration GitHub App, a site fix arrives as a pull request you approve. Nothing publishes itself.
  • Weekly re-checks that say only what they saw. Each change comes back as verified live, not yet observed, or our check could not run — never a guess from silence.
  • Your AI share of voice, over time. What ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Grok answer about your category, and how often the answer is you.
  • Andrew writes the plan. The scan is deterministic; the plan is a person reading your findings and putting them in order.

The short version

Key takeaways

  • AEO — Answer Engine Optimization — means helping AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok) and Google see your business and describe it accurately, and working to make you the answer they give.
  • The audit is five layers deep: the scan is automated — the same rubric for every site, so month-over-month changes mean something — and Andrew writes the plan for what to fix.
  • Membership is $9 the first month, then $99/month, month-to-month, and you start it yourself at checkout — no sales call.
  • Onboarding (our automated audit and setup) has a list price of $1,000, and it's waived with membership.
  • The free door is a scored scan of your home page — no card.
  • And we track it: your visibility in AI answers over time, and the visits AI sends you — in your own analytics.

What buyers ask before they sign.

What exactly is an AI audit?

An automated crawl of your site, scored by five analyzers, plus two site-wide checks. The scan finishes in minutes; the written audit comes back within three business days — we aim for the same day. We look at five things.

First, the technical and indexing problems pulling your Google rank down. Second, the content and keyword gaps on your pages. Third, whether your pages are built to be quoted by an AI answer engine: schema, author identity, a direct answer near the top. Fourth, your public presence: social profiles, Google Business Profile signals, and whether your name, address, and phone agree across your own pages. Fifth, an accessibility read for common WCAG Level A barriers. The two site-wide checks are a crawl-health pass (broken and unreachable internal pages) and an AI-crawler pass: whether your robots.txt lets AI crawlers read your site at all, and whether an llms.txt is present.

You get a written report, a dashboard view, and a plan. The scan finds the problems; Andrew writes the plan from your findings — the scanner ranks and explains, it doesn't write your plan. Membership is one flat price, with one free consulting hour each month; anything beyond that hour is scoped with you before it starts.

What the audit itself does not do: it doesn't query ChatGPT or Gemini live to see whether they name you today, and it doesn't read your analytics or ad accounts. Live citation tracking is a separate membership tool that runs your buyer questions against Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok every week. If you connect Google Analytics and Search Console in your portal, the Visibility page reads back the visits AI sends you. We'd rather name the boundary than let you assume a scan saw something it can't.

What does onboarding cost?

Onboarding (our automated audit and setup) has a list price of $1,000, and it's waived with membership. Against 2026 industry benchmarks for the deliverable, that's a fair price; verify against WebFX, FirstPageSage, or any reputable agency.

We can waive it because onboarding is automated: near-zero marginal cost to run, full value to you. Membership is $9 the first month, then $99/month, month-to-month, and you can start it yourself at checkout — no sales call. If you want to look before you buy, a $0 homepage scan takes no card.

What do I get with membership?

Onboarding (our automated audit and setup, list price $1,000) waived. Weekly monitoring, one deep scan a day, AI-visibility tracking across five engines, the generated fixes attached to every released report, and one free consulting hour each month. The senior people do your work — no junior account-manager hand-off. A voice in the methodology: your audit findings shape its next version. Membership is $9 the first month, then $99/month, month-to-month, and you start it yourself at checkout. A $0 homepage scan, if you'd rather look first, takes no card.

How is this different from Semrush, Ahrefs, or a free SEO tool?

Those tools hand you a 200-item checklist and leave you to guess which five items actually move money. Our audit ranks findings by severity, checks whether the AI answer engines' crawlers can read you at all and whether your pages are structured to be quoted, and ends with a plan Andrew wrote from the findings.

The tool gives you data. The audit gives you a decision, with Andrew's name on it.

Can I see a sample audit before I pay?

Better than a sample: run the $0 homepage scan, no card, on your own site. You see the real thing on your real pages rather than a demo built on someone else's.

If you'd rather read one first, email human@emaration.ai and we'll send an illustrative walkthrough built on a composite, anonymized business profile (we have no published clients yet, so it isn't a real client) — we aim to send it within one business day.
